Holditch will be one of the newest additions to the Mercia fleet, having began construction in late 2022 and due to be operational by mid-2023.
The site is located to the east of Holditch Road and occupies a central position within Lymedale Industrial Park, close to the A34 Liverpool Road in Newcastle under Lyme.
The site is being constructed within an existing, purpose-built power station building that is set within a yard and includes three stacks and banks of large external radiator coolers.
